The Proclaimers are a Scottish band composed of twin brothers Charlie and Craig Reid. They are best known for the songs “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”, “Sunshine on Leith”, “I’m On My Way” and “Letter from America”, and their singing style with a Scottish accent. The band tours extensively throughout the world. They have released ten studio albums since 1987 as well as three compilation albums and a DVD.
From May 2015 – October 2016 The Proclaimers (brothers Craig and Charlie Reid) have been on the road, crossing the globe performing 150 shows. The last stop of this tour was in Solana Beach California at the world renowned Belly Up Tavern.
Live at The Belly Up finds the band in top form, featuring 24 tracks and over 83 minutes of music. The setlist spans The Proclaimers entire career and features the band’s iconic songs including “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”, “Sunshine on Leith”, “I’m On My Way”, and “Over and Done With.” Also featured are several standout tracks from the band’s critically acclaimed 10th album Let’s Hear it for the Dogs including “In My Home” and “Be With Me.”
Craig and Charlie have reached the rarefied status that few have been able to achieve: with nearly three decades of career longevity, they are as innovative as ever and with every album and show played, they’ve continued to garner new fans.
