Formed in Late 2009, Aloha Radio has rapidly become known for their onstage energy and unique sound echoing Southern California's culture of surfing, originality, and passion. The band's native Orange County is known as the longtime home of many surf bands, Dick Dale, The Surfaris, The Challengers, The Chantays, Agent Orange and others. Aloha Radio, however, has taken the genre into the 21st century… they're adding to its glory by forging a new sound for a new generation. Much like the ocean they have grown up around, Aloha Radio’s sound is soothing and relaxing, yet at times, a pounding fury. Their music is a wave rolling in from the deep, always evolving and progressing. This album was recorded at the Belly Up on April 6th 2014 blending the unmistakable sound of California's enduring early rock and roll with the modern soul of their lead singer, Lauren Mulderrig.
